AROMATICS
Primary vinous (black-grapey) aromas with peppery, spicy forest-floor, earthy raspberry and blackberry. Fruity, bright and calling my name (‘Wes, come and DRINK me!’)

PALATE
Bright, fruity, elegant side of Red Zin-at under 13.9% alcohol this is a fantastic wine to consume for hours with delicious food and friends. Red berry fruits dominate the attack, mid-palate and persistent finish, with hints of spice, pepper, and bramble. Mouth-watering acidity keeps the wine fresh and perky and also gives an excellent structural lift for the red fruits to play out on the palate.

FOOD PAIRING
Hamburgers, pasta, pizza, tri-tip steak, and mushroom/eggplant/goat cheese Napoleon, oak-grilled.

AGING
Drink or hold. How long? Zin doesn’t care. But I do, I would think 2020 for some maturity, 2025 for full.
